Probably the most well known Linux LiveDVD. Knoppix includes utilities which can be used to repair both Windows and Linux computers, and scripts to save changes made to the running LiveDVD session back to a USB flash drive. This version comes with both KDE 4.3 and Gnome 2.28, and the 2.6.31 kernel.
